Residential Interior Design Photo Packages

Choose from the following interior design photo packages, each structured so I can photograph your spaces intentionally and create a cohesive visual story of your project.

I keep pricing predictable so you know what to budget and what you’ll receive. Each package includes on-site photography, full retouching, and a standard usage license.

Focused Shoot

— $900

Perfect for a single room or small hero moment.

  • Up to 3 final images and a few bonus detail shots if time allows
  • Typically up to 3 hours on site
  • Includes on-site photography + standard retouching
  • Includes standard usage license for one firm

Standard Project

— $1,500

Great for a typical interiors project with a few key rooms and angles. Most interior projects land here.

  • 4–7 final images and a few bonus detail shots if time allows
  • Typically a half day on site
  • Includes on-site photography + standard retouching
  • Includes standard usage license for one firm

Full Project

— $2,300

Best for larger projects, multiple rooms, or a full story of the space.

  • 8–15 final images and a few bonus detail shots if time allows
  • Typically a full day on site
  • Includes on-site photography + standard retouching
  • Includes standard usage license for one firm

Bonus Detail Shots

I prioritize the main hero views we plan together. When the schedule and space allow, I also like to capture a few styled details and material vignettes. As a complimentary bonus, I may include up to 3 additional detail images in your final delivery.

Standard Use License

Each package includes a non-exclusive, limited-use license for one firm, allowing use on your website, online portfolio, social media, email marketing, brochures, award submissions, and local/regional advertising promoting your firm.

Manufacturers and vendors may share images on social media when featuring your project, as long as they credit Karen Palmer Photography and @karenpalmerphotography (IG tag).

Rights are perpetual for these uses. Additional uses (such as national campaigns or broader paid advertising) can be licensed separately.

This license doesn’t include resale of images, transferring rights to other companies, or unrelated third-party advertising without a separate agreement.

If your needs differ please contact me for an estimate.

Cost Sharing with Partners

Many projects involve multiple collaborators—designers, builders, architects, cabinet makers, etc. The package price and standard license apply to one firm. If additional partners would like to use the images for their own marketing, they’re welcome to share in the cost of the shoot. I’ll outline a simple shared package in your estimate so everyone knows their portion and what’s included. Project partners ideally should be onboard before the shoot, that way images are included that meet your project partner’s needs.

Travel

Sessions are based in the St. Louis area. Travel outside the greater St. Louis region is not included and will be quoted separately (mileage, lodging, and per diem if needed).

How Does a Photography Project Come Together?

Every project is different, but most interiors and architectural shoots follow a similar rhythm: planning, a focused day on site, and careful editing to deliver publish-ready images.

1

Pre-production

This includes phone calls, emails, and planning to make sure I have everything in place for your shoot day. If we haven’t worked together before—or it’s been a while—this is when we’ll walk through image licensing and fees.

2

Shoot Day

I’ll arrive at the location, unload my car, bringing in the necessary gear for the day. After meeting and a walkthrough, I’ll set up and we’ll start shooting.

Sometimes a shot can take an hour, other times twenty minutes. It all depends on the size of our space, lighting, and styling needs. Don’t be surprised if we need to move furniture or objects to capture the most authentic yet pleasing image.

During this process you will see images on a laptop. We can zoom in and make sure everything is set in place and that we like what we see.

Some setups move quickly; others take more time. We’ll prioritize the most important views first so your must-have images are covered.

After the Shoot — Post Production

Every scene captured enters the editing process. Included are color corrections, lens corrections, perspective corrections, and enhancements to deliver publish-ready images suitable for high-quality print, digital platforms, and contests. It is usual in this industry for post-production time to exceed the shooting time.

Brands, Hospitality & Commercial

Every project is unique. Let’s have a discovery call, so I can learn about your needs and goals.

My values—authenticity, craftsmanship, and adaptability—shape the shoot from planning to delivery.
